Starting from Riale, located at 1731 meters above sea level, we will begin our climb towards Alpe Toggia, along a historic dirt road with hairpin bends built over two centuries ago to connect Italy to Switzerland. After passing the Maria Luisa refuge, located at 2160 meters, we will continue the adventure along the shore of Lake Toggia until we reach Passo San Giacomo, at 2313 meters , along the Swiss border. During the route, we will have the opportunity to admire numerous lakes and imposing peaks.
On the way back, we will stop at the Maria Luisa refuge where there will be the opportunity to have lunch with typical products.
