Excursion to the Bagni di Craveggia - Date 27/08

DURATION: Full day

One of the classic treks on the border between Ossola and Canton Ticino.

Starting from the Piana di Vigezzo we will first reach Alpe Ruggia , and then head towards Switzerland.

We will then arrive at the Onsernone barracks in Switzerland (986 m asl), and then move to the nearby Bagni di Craveggia, home to a precious thermal spring whose natural waters with beneficial properties flow out at a constant temperature of about 28° . Here we will have the opportunity to take a bath in these precious waters.

Return by shuttle to Prestinone di Craveggia.

REQUIREMENTS

The route will be carried out on not particularly exposed dirt paths, dedicated to people who enjoy good motor health, and who are able to make at least 700 meters in altitude in the mountains.
