New Board of Directors for V&F
New convergence phase towards an Ossola-wide project for “Le Tre Valli”:
Vigezzo Valley, Formazza Valley, and Antrona Valley
The shareholders' meeting of V&F (formerly Vigezzo & Friends), the company that manages the ski resorts and tourist destinations of the Vigezzo Valley, Formazza Valley, and Antrona Valley, unanimously approved the appointment of the new Board of Directors and the new management team, initiating a new phase of recovery, development, and convergence towards a common project in the Ossola Valley.
The President, lawyer Carlalberto Guglielminotti, founder of the NHOA Group and the Energy Transition Capital investment platform, as well as a Young Global Leader of the World Economic Forum, deeply rooted in the Vigezzo Valley and founder of the NHOA Ski Team project in Italy, has been reconfirmed in his institutional role to continue representing the figure of guarantee and continuity for the company, guiding its path towards a new shared set of values at the Ossola level, with a spirit of service and responsibility towards local communities.
Alongside the Presidency, the new management team brings solid expertise, local roots, and a renewed vision of the valleys, the mountains, and hospitality.
- Alessandro Serra will assume the role of General Manager for the sports area and the management of the three resorts. Formerly a head coach for national Alpine Ski World Cup teams, and currently Technical Director of the NHOA Ski Team at the Italian level, he will bring technical expertise, discipline in the management of ropeway systems, a sporting vision, and a focus on youth development, cultivated for years within the Federation, CONI, and as a corporate manager in the NHOA Group alongside President Carlalberto Guglielminotti.
- Gonzalo Monzon, with degrees in Philosophy, Dogmatic Theology, Religious Sciences, and Educational Center Management, and a Master's in Educational Leadership from Cambridge University, will oversee institutional relations and communication, with the aim of strengthening dialogue and building an increasingly direct and transparent relationship with the territory and politics at local, regional, and national levels.
- Massimo Sartoretti, with over 35 years of experience in high-end food and wine and catering, will contribute to the development of the food and wine and hospitality offerings, enhancing local excellence and communities as a central element of the tourist experience.
- Francesco Toniutti, a law graduate who grew up in Val Vigezzo and on its slopes, represents a historical continuity with the territory. Son of Margherita and Cesare Toniutti – former President of V&F who passed away prematurely and was a key figure in the company's foundation and growth – he contributes with experience and a sense of belonging to a project that looks forward without forgetting its roots.
- Giulia Guglielminotti, Administrative Manager with degrees in Legal Sciences and Economics, and a professional background gained in multinational contexts and the non-profit world, will bring structure, transparency, and management solidity.
The team is completed by fundamental figures with great expertise in their respective resorts, such as Paolo Cantonetti, Daniele Marchetti, Marco Zarini, Federico Samonini, and Alessandro Vita, who daily ensure the highest levels of safety and quality of service in the Three Valleys.
The new Board of Directors also wishes to thank Luca Mantovani for his commitment and work over the previous years, contributing to the company's development.
Today marks a new phase in V&F's journey
The mandate entrusted to the new management is clear: to rebuild and strengthen a solid, authentic, and continuous relationship with the communities of Val Vigezzo, Val Formazza, and Valle Antrona.
The mountains are not just a tourist destination: they are first and foremost home to those who live there every day.
The goal is to enhance the territory by putting people at the center – families, children, athletes, local operators – and to build a development model that generates pride, participation, and shared growth.
In parallel, the new management will have the mandate to rehabilitate and relaunch the company's image and operations, with a view to sharing values with all other Ossola resorts, starting from the Ski Area VCO and all ongoing projects for the enhancement of the Ossola territory, within the broader regional project, under the guidance of the President of the Piedmont Region, Alberto Cirio, and at the provincial level, in support of the President of the Province of VCO, Giandomenico Albertella.
V&F thus renews its commitment to be not only a facility manager but also an active and responsible part of the social and economic fabric of the Three Valleys.
New energy, a new team, a clear vision: to grow the mountains together with those who live there.
First and foremost, with a view to maximum sharing with communities and local administrations in Val Vigezzo, Val Formazza, and Valle Antrona.
